This seminar is designed to get you thinking about undergraduate research in the social sciences and how to choose a research topic. Whether you are planning on conducting a research project for your honors thesis or are just interested in seeing whether research is right for you, this seminar will give you a broad overview of the research process, especially how to choose a topic. You will also hear from graduate students from different fields, who will discuss how they chose their own research topics.

This seminar series is open to Cornell students from all majors, but will be especially useful for social science majors.
