Keung Yoon ‘Becky’ Bae is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University. Her current research interests include colonial cinema during the Japanese empire, film and cultural policy in Korea throughout the twentieth century, and new forms of media in contemporary South Korea.
