About this Event
Central Campus
Join the Cell Biology Hub for their Spring Molecular Cell Bio Group seminar “Lysosome Stress Pathways as Drivers of Neurodegeneration”
Speaker:
Professor of Cell Biology and of Neuroscience
Yale School of Medicine
Ferguson's research defines fundamental mechanisms through which lysosome functions adapt to changes in cellular demand. Building on insights from human genetics and disease pathology, his lab has furthermore identified how dysfunctions in the endolysosomal pathway contribute to neurodegenerative diseases.

The Cell Biology Hub at the Weill Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology is a collaborative network of researchers united by a shared goal: to uncover how cells build, organize, and adapt themselves to sustain life. We bring together graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty across the Institute who study the architecture and dynamics of cells — from cytoskeletal remodeling and organelle biogenesis to signaling, membrane trafficking, and tissue morphogenesis.
