DESCRIPTION:Born This Way -My Journey of Difference\n\n\n“Early in my profe
 ssional life\, I was asked to work on issues of diversity and inclusion. At
  first\, I resisted\, feeling ill equipped for the tasks at hand. Later\, i
 t seemed imperative. As I have reflected on my life\, I realize that I was 
 born into this conversation. Today\, I am proud to be an agent for change. 
 In this presentation\, I will share lessons from the journey and my hope fo
 r the future.”\n\n\nBio: Reginald H. White is the HR Director for the Resea
 rch Division at Cornell University. In this role\, he is responsible for ma
 naging the delivery of human resources services for the division and the re
 search centers that report to the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. 
 Reginald is a strategic partner to the Vice Provost and in that role helps 
 to influence the future of research at the university. In addition\, he ser
 ves as an executive coach to faculty and staff and conducts presentations a
 cross campus on a wide range of topics. Reginald also serves as the Chair f
 or the Men of Color Colleague Network Group.\n\n\nPrior to returning to Cor
 nell\, he was President of a consulting firm\, Toran Enterprises\, LLC that
  specialized in executive coaching\, diversity and leadership development. 
 In this role\, he traveled extensively and facilitated sessions in South Af
 rica\, Amsterdam and London. Prior to that he was at Merrill Lynch as Vice 
 President\, Divisional Marketing Manager. Before joining Merrill Lynch\, he
  spent a number of years at Fidelity Investments in various roles including
  Vice President\, Marketing\, Internal Management Consultant and Vice Presi
 dent\, HumanResources.\n\nReginald is an active Cornell Alum currently serv
 ing as the immediate Past President\, Human Ecology Alumni Board and member
  of Mosaic. He received his B.S. in Psychology at Cornell University and hi
 s Executive M.B.A. at Boston University.
