Title: It is time to reboot  Math (and CS)

Abstract: Current mainstream math (and theoretical computer science) are the way there are, because they are culminations of random walks by (often very smart) humans, but still human, who need to be able to feel that they are doing something, and so keep generalizing for generalization's sake, and making up artificial minor open problems. Also because they were following the false god of the so-called infinity, went through baroque loops to make things "rigorous" (or so they thought). Most of it is utterly boring, and only of interest to at most 50 living humans. It is high time, to start all over, and do math (and cs) the way they were meant to be.

Bio: Doron Zeilberger is an Israeli-American mathematician and Board of Governors Professor of Mathematics at Rutgers University, known for his influential work in combinatorics. He earned his Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 1976.

His research spans combinatorics, hypergeometric identities, and q-series, and includes landmark proofs such as the alternating sign matrix conjecture and the q-TSPP conjecture. He is also recognized for pioneering the use of computers in mathematical discovery, often crediting his computer as a co-author, and for his provocative commentary on the philosophy of mathematics. His honors include the Leroy P. Steele Prize, the Euler Medal, the Lester R. Ford Award, and fellowship in the American Mathematical Society.
