Join us this Fall 2025  for the Latino Living Center Café con Leche Series. This series allows students, student organizations, programs and departments to present a topic and engage in conversation and dialogues with members of the Cornell community. Topics range from issues affecting Latinos and other racial, ethnic and cultural communities in topics ranging from policy, media, education, identity, health and more.

Celebrate fall with the LLC’s Café con Leche at our Carve & Sip Night! Enjoy a cozy evening as you carve your own pumpkin, sip on autumn-inspired mocktails, and get into the spooky spirit with friends. Join us on Thursday, October 24th, 6–7 PM  in the LLC Main Lounge. Pumpkins are limited, so don’t forget to register on CampusGroups to reserve yours!

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with the LLC! We’ll begin by collaboratively setting up our annual ofrenda. You are invited to contribute by bringing photos of family, friends, or cultural icons. If you need photos printed, upload them here! Form will close on Thursday, 10/30. We’ll also watch a movie with fresh popcorn and sweet treats provided! Join us on Friday, October 31st, from 6–7 PM in the LLC Main Lounge. Register via campus groups.

Friday, November 7: Nuestra Historia - How Political Activism Has Shaped Cornell

Join us for this event celebrating the legacy of student activism on campus. From the Willard Straight Hall Takeover to the creation of program centers, this event explores how movements led by students transformed Cornell into the institution it is today.
Hear from campus organizations, including Committee on U.S.-Latin American Relations (CUSLAR), Asian Pacific Americans for Action (APAA), Haven, and the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program (AIISP), as they share stories of resistance and empowerment. RSVP Here!

Friday November 14: Latine Art & Paint Night

The event will highlight historical and political Latine art pieces throughout history. Alongside the display, participants will take part in an interactive painting activity where they'll create their own political art pieces, which will later be displayed. Register here!
