Bokeh (bokeh.org) is a software package that supports the interactive visualization and investigation of complex datasets. As part of the Python ecosystem for scientific computing and data science, Bokeh combines a Python front-end that enables programmers to design custom visualizations with a JavaScript-based back-end that allows for interaction within web browsers. This lunch seminar provides an overview of some of the capabilities and uses of Bokeh, ranging from the generation of interactive figures to the construction of dynamic applications and web servers that support user-driven data analyses.
