Roger W. Ferguson, Jr., president and chief executive officer of TIAA-CREF, discusses several important topics related to “Building Financial Security in the 21st Century." Mr. Ferguson will be giving a talk on creating lifelong financial security and the shifting global economic and demographic trends affecting the American retirement landscape.

TIAA-CREF is a leading provider of retirement services in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields and a Fortune 100 financial services organization with more than $440 billion in combined assets under management.

Ferguson served as vice chairman of the Board of Governors of the U.S.Federal Reserve System and chaired Federal Reserve Board committees on banking supervision and regulation, payment system policy and reserve bank oversight. He is a member of President Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness and served on its predecessor, the Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Ferguson holds a B.A., J.D. and Ph.D. in economics, all from Harvard University.
