 egin? This event hosts Dr Max Liboiron\, creator of the Civic Laboratory f
 or Environmental Action Research (CLEAR)\, a feminist and anticolonial lab
  at Memorial University\, Canada. Dr Liboiron will discuss the structures\
 , strategies\, and tactics of building a lab from the ground up\, with a s
 pecial emphasis on creating labs for community-based work. \n\nThe event i
 s hosted by Dr Nathan Matias\, founder and director of the Citizens and Te
 chnology (CAT) Lab in the Communication Department at Cornell University. 
 CAT Lab works with online communities to study the effects of technology o
 n the public interest\, envisioning a world where digital power is guided 
 by evidence and accountable to the public.\n\nThis event will be recorded.
