Calling all kids (and their parents) who are into making cool stuff. In celebration of Earth Week 2019 and in partnership with Manndible Café, Mann Library will be hosting some earth-friendly making activities in the Mann Lobby and mannUfactory makerspace.
• 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Drop the Mann Lobby to make and decorate colorful drink-&-snack jars that you can use for your lunch box at school or camp.
• 1:00 – 3:30 pm: Drop by the mannUfactory makerspace to put an Earth Week logo on a t-shirt and/or make reusable snack bags that will help reduce what you throw away at every day.
(And while you’re here, we’ll be happy to show you the other cool making equipment (3D printers, button-makers, and more) that you can find in the mannUfactory for turning your designs and creative ideas into reality. Hope we get to see you here for some good down-to-earth (not to mention, save–the-earth) fun!)
