Event date: July 17, 2019
Registration deadline: Jul 1, 2019
REMEMBER: Every 4-H Member wishing to show an animal or project at the Boonville Oneida County Fair must have logged in 6 hours of Community Service. Cloverbuds excluded. reg.cce.cornell.edu/Facesof4H2017-18_230
All 4-H Members are encouraged to submit projects for public view at the Boonville Fair. In an effort to reduce paperwork for everyone. ALL projects that are to be displayed in the Youth Building must be pre-registered. Projects not pre-registered by July 1st will not be accepted for display or awards.
The pre registration information supplied will enable us to determine how many judges and in what categories they are needed.
Please remember you are limited to entering 12 items in the youth building. Please make sure they are your BEST work.
Pre-registration will also allow us to print out the Exhibitor's Cards ( Eliminating the need for you to hand write them)
Youth will no longer need to complete the exhibitor statement. Instead of asking youth to write about their project and what they have learned, youth will now meet face to face with an evaluator and explain their projects.
Face to face judging is July 17th at CCE. Youth entering projects should arrive between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Upon entering you should proceed to the registration table where you will pick up your judging forms and entry cards.
Attach the forms to your projects and then proceed to an available judge. Once all your projects have been evaluated you are free to go.
Remember you must pre-register your projects. We will not accept any items not pre-registered. If you are planning on doing some projects between July 1st and July 17th go ahead and register them, HOWEVER, be realistic.
Please review the Boonville Fair Premium book to determine what Section and Class your project should go under. If you have questions please be sure to contact the office. cceoneida.com/4-h-youth-development/oneida-county-fair
