  the joy of learning with the necessity of career preparation.\n\nReflecti
 ng on his 48 years as a faculty member\, Schwarz shares feedback and sugge
 stions from previous students\, colleagues\, and university administrators
 . Not only is his new book a guide for applying to college and searching f
 or financial aid\, but it provides advice to parents and lets students kno
 w what options are available to them during each year of study and after g
 raduation. Schwarz also highlights the importance of studying the humaniti
 es\, no matter what your major. Benefits include learning how to write eff

 s received Cornell’s Russell Distinguished Teaching Award and is the aut
