Finding Well-being in the Face of Tragedy: Dining with Diverse Minds
Friday, September 9, 2016 5pm to 7pm
About this Event
Central Campus
This summer and fall have been marked by a chain of tragic events across the nation and the world. The loss of innocent lives, charged rhetoric and relentless media coverage have impacted many groups and individuals in our community.
What are the "hashtag campaigns" all about? How are Cornell students being affected by the current political climate? What can Cornell do to best promote a culture of respect in our community at this time?
Ulysses Smith and Angela Winfield from the Department of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity will kick off our table discussions with an inspiring presentation.
Open to all Cornell students – come early to ensure a seat. Enjoy a delicious catered dinner by Aladdin’s Natural Eatery.
