DESCRIPTION:Join Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center's educator on Wed
 nesday\, February 18th\, 2026\, from 10:00am to 11:30am to learn about bird
 ing.  You will begin indoors\, transitioning to a guided walk in the woods.
   If there is enough snow\, you'll get to use the center's snowshoes at no 
 additional cost\, or you can bring your own.  You'll learn how to use binoc
 ulars\, notice different clues to help you identify a bird\, and familiariz
 e yourself with some common bird calls.  Afterwards\, gear up and head outs
 ide to put this knowledge to work in a bird search.  Look and listen\, with
  the help of our educator\, to create a record of what birds are nearby.  F
 inish out the program by learning about the citizen science project your da
 ta will become a part of!\n\n\nWe ask that you please wear boots that can h
 andle the snow and dress appropriately for the weather. \n\n\nThe program f
 ee is $4 per person and up to $12 per family.  Children three years old and
  under are free.  Advanced registration is encouraged\, as space is limited
