Beginning Farmer Discussion Series: Crop Planning and Supply Ordering

Get ready for the 2023 growing season! Join Madison CCE for our new monthly farmer discussion group (aimed at farmers in their first ten years of growing, but totally open to all!!). 

We'll kick off the first half of each session with a presentation on a seasonal topic (or challenge!) and follow up with plenty of time for questions, talking, and sharing experiences of the ups and downs of food production in CNY.

In January, we take on the process of creating and fine tuning effective crop plans for seasonal annual production (veg, herbs, flowers, etc), how to translate those plans off paper and into ordering lists, and figuring out where and when to get all those supplies.

This is a new series, so reach out to our Ag and Hort Educator, Maryellen Sheehan, if YOU have suggestions on topics, preferred days/times to meet, or outside experts you'd like to see brought in!
