Set on a terraced hillside above State Street, Sage House is a charming mix of English Revival and Stick styles. Now the home of the Cornell University Press, the mansion was built for Henry Williams Sage (1814-1897) and Susan Linn Sage (1819-1885) between 1877 and 1880.

Historic Ithaca and Cornell University Press are co-hosting a behind-the-scenes tour of the William H. Miller-designed property led by City of Ithaca Historian Mary Tomlan.

Join us on Thursday, September 13, at 5:30 p.m. at 118 Sage Place in Ithaca for the tour and a wine-and-cheese reception.

Sage House is wheelchair-accessible only on the first floor. There is a limited amount of parking in the lot next to Sage House, which can be accessed from East Seneca Street.
