Advice columnist Amy Dickinson (of “Ask Amy” fame) pays tribute to the groundbreaking career of Dr. Joyce Brothers, whose life and work crossed genres, popularized psychotherapy, and set a bold standard for how women could make their own way in post World War II America.

This talk will be immediately followed by an opening reception for the exhibit Dr. Joyce Brothers, Mother of Media Psychology, in the Hirshland Exhibition Gallery of Carl A. Kroch Library, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
