Join us for this engaging, interactive, and reflective workshop that will strengthen your mentorship toolkit.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to:

  • Identify what useful mentor/mentees are, know, and can do
  • Articulate how (interpersonal) skills developed through mentor-mentee relationship transfer to other real world applications
  • Strengthen your ability to give and receive feedback

Being an engaged leader takes specific skills and understanding. At the Be the Change Workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to build both while learning about mentorship, critical reflection and group dynamics and exploring power dynamics in a community engagement context.

Workshops are facilitated by student Engaged Ambassadors, other student leaders, and faculty.

You may also be interested in the Social Justice Roundtable sessions, where you can build knowledge to complement your developing engaged leadership skills.
