Join A&S Career Development for a Career Conversation with Andrew Licthman '07 about his career path and experience as a Law Partner at Jenner & Block, LLC.

Career Conversations are meant to be small networking sessions designed to offer you the chance to get answers to your most pressing questions about a particular career field. There is no formal agenda for this event, just a group of 5-15 students who have the opportunity to ask questions about Andrew's career path and/or about the field of law.

Students should come prepared to ask questions. Andrew will give a 10-15 minute overview of his career path, and then there will be a Q&A session (with students asking the questions).

When financial institutions, multinational companies, technology companies and corporate executives face their toughest legal challenges, they turn to Andrew Lichtman to defend them. He represents clients in complex civil litigation including securities and financial services cases, merger and acquisition matters, derivative and shareholder lawsuits and other types of commercial disputes. Andrew is also skilled in representing companies and individuals investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice.

From his defense of a bank in residential mortgage-backed securities cases arising out of the financial crisis to representing companies in high-stakes securities class actions to litigations with parallel arbitrations and government investigations, clients can be assured they are in excellent hands to preserve their reputations and achieve a favorable resolution. Andrew's clients come from industries as diverse as banking and other financial services, manufacturing, technology, and cannabis.

Before joining Jenner & Block, Andrew served as a law clerk to the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and to the Honorable R. Barclay Surrick of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
