Join us for a night of creativity, storytelling, and hands-on learning with two incredible textile artists:
- Sarah Gotowka (Luna Fiber Studio): Sarah is a textile artist and the owner of Luna Fiber Studio. She will share her current research into Korean indigo fermentation and its historical roots. Following her presentation, participants can try out weaving through hands-on demonstrations using both a table loom and a backstrap loom.
- Gabriella Evergreen: Gabriella explores identity, queerness, and healing through the traditional Chilean textile form of arpilleras. Learn about their powerful history and engage in hand-sewing techniquesto create your own expressive textile piece.

- Bevi Wallenstein (Bevi): Bevi’s art is inspired by the natural world and explores organic forms through fiber. During this workshop, participants will learn about her creative process and get to try hands-on weaving using cardboard looms and yarn. ✨ All materials provided.
- Sarah Lopez: Sarah invites you to explore themes of resilience and growth through fiber. Hear about her artistic journey and join in a hands-on activity that weaves together storytelling and textile art. ✨ All materials provided.

- Yen Ospina (Curator + Artist): Hear what fuels Yen's work as a multidisciplinary artist and community curator. Then settle into a soothing coloring session designed for reflection and stress relief. ✨ All ages welcome, supplies included.
- Haydee Borrero (Sheepy Hollow): Explore Haydee’s journey as a fiber artist and dive into a wool felting activity using local fibers. Learn about her practice while creating your own soft sculpture. ✨ No experience needed. All materials provided.

- Hilos De Vicky Workshop: Discover this Cuban brand that blends recycled materials with modern Yoruba-inspired fashion. Participants will create jewelry or accessories from upcycled materials while learning about sustainable fashion. ✨ All materials provided; beginner-friendly.
- Pilar Gutierrez Workshop: Through a Latine lens, Pilar will guide you in a reflective zine-making activity that explores identity, personal narrative, and shared experience. ✨ Step-by-step zine creation using mixed media; all supplies included.

Join us for a powerful and poetic evening led by Colombian artists Dorelly Johanna Villareal Martinez, Lua Arroyo, and local poet Yessica Martinez. This collaborative workshop invites participants to activate memory through color, using poetry as a guide for reflection and creativity.
Together, you’ll craft a circular thread necklace, weaving personal and ancestral stories into fiber. The activity draws from mystical, feminine, and cultural energies—a grounding and creative experience forall levels.

Spend the evening immersed in fiber, paint, and cultural storytelling with two incredible Latin American artists:
- Ju Quaresma (Viva Acres) — Brazilian-Latina shepherd and fiber artist sharing her wool transformation journey. Learn about her wet felting process, explore her tools, felted creations, and even see adorable sheep photos! Then, try your hand at a hands-on felting activity—cozy, fun, and beginner-friendly.
- Loreto Molina (Painting Mujeres) — Chilean artist using painting and embroidery to uplift women’s stories and strength. Discover the cultural power of Chilean embroidery, then experiment with acrylic and thread to create pieces that reflect your own identity and resilience.
