ART 3799: Force and Fragility

Students in the ART 3799: Tactical Media Studio will exhibit a video installation called Force and Fragility. The video's name was inspired by the 2018 Cornell Biennial, "Duration: Passage, Persistence, Survival." The multichannel piece — a collaborative intervention — considers both the force and fragility of the environments that we find ourselves in daily. As artists we respond to the nature surrounding us — the weather; the lush, green, overgrown landscape and rock formations surrounding Ithaca; and the place we all work in and visit frequently, New York City.

The class is taught by Visiting Associate Professor Renate Ferro.
