Tuesday, April 21, 2026 2:30pm to 4:30pm
About this Event
Cornell University Mann Library, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853, USA
#art+feminism26Join the Cornell University Library for the 2025 Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon. Art + Feminism is a global Wikimedia Project, which aims to address information gaps on Wikipedia and Wikidata. Cornell has hosted programming for Art + Feminism for over ten years. This year, our theme is: We need feminist data to tell feminist stories.
Become a Wikipedia editor, and get involved in this international effort to improve public knowledge of women in the arts by contributing to Wikipedia and Wikidata entries.
Pop-ups will be hosted on the following dates
- April 21, 2026 from 2:30-4:30pm in Room 102, Mann Library
- April 23, 2026 from 3:30pm-5:30pm in Room 108, Olin Library
Everyone is welcome—no matter your gender, and regardless of experience with editing. Unfamiliar with Wikipedia and Wikidata? We’ll walk you through the editing process. If you already have collectives, groups, artists, writers, or performers in mind (whether cis, transgender, or non-binary), great! If you don’t, pick from our worklist.
We will also be hosting the following events:
- Community Data Activism: Art, Feminism, & Us at the Tompkins County Public Library. Tuesday April 7 from 6:00pm - 7:15pm
- Data Feminism Panel Discussion at Olin Library, Room 107 on April 15 from 4:30pm-6:00pm
