#art+feminism26Art + Feminism is a global Wikimedia Project, which aims to address information gaps on Wikipedia and Wikidata. Cornell has hosted programming for Art + Feminism for over ten years. This year, in addition to opportunities to edit Wikipedia, Cornell University Library is hosting a panel discussion about this year’s theme: We need feminist data to tell feminist stories.
The panel discussion includes Lindsay Thomas (Associate Professor, Department of Literatures in English), Wunpini Mohammed (Assistant Professor, Department of Communication), Brume Dezembro Iazzetti (PhD student, Department of Science and Technology Studies), Addy Morgenstern (undergraduate Student and President of the History of ART Club), and Jupiter Bhanot (undergraduate student and artist). Join us for a conversation on topics such as information justice, feminist data praxis, art, and more! The panel will be held in person on April 15th from 4:30pm - 6pm in Olin Library room 107.
We will also be hosting the following events:
- Community Data Activism: Art, Feminism, & Us at the Tompkins County Public Library. Tuesday April 7 from 6:00pm - 7:15pm
