http://REGISTER - https://cornell.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6LH95ibjo1K9i8RThe National Immigration Forum’s New American Workforce is offering a free one hour information session on citizenship on February 3, 2016 at 10:00 am or 3:00 pm at the East Hill Office Building (395 Pine Tree Road), Room 140. Immigration specialists from National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) will help you figure out if you are eligible and answer your questions on how to apply.

New American Workforce will facilitate citizenship assistance through a two-step process:
1st - Information Workshops – Experienced immigration professionals provide an introduction to the citizenship process; including eligibility requirements, benefits of citizenship, and will facilitate question and answers from the group.
2nd - Application Workshops – Employees receive one-on-one assistance to further determine eligibility and complete the application. (Date to be determined)

In order to pass the naturalization test, immigrants must possess a basic knowledge of U.S. history and proficiency in English. Support is available to employees through the Cornell CLASP program. CLASP helps prepare employees for the interview and understand the concepts required to pass the history and civics test.

Information for traveling to EHOB: TCAT Bus Route #82 can be taken from central campus to this location; there are also a limited number of accessible and visitor parking spaces in the parking lots of the front and rear of the building.
