About this Event
Please join us for our spring 2019 open house for admitted students. The event will include program overviews, highlights of our areas of expertise, Q&A sessions with faculty and current students, as well as an opportunity to sit in on our studios and tour our material fabrication shop and facilities. Our faculty and current graduate students make themselves available throughout the day. We hope that you will be able to attend this in-depth introduction to graduate studies at Cornell.

For all students traveling to Ithaca for the April 8 open house, we are offering an optional post-open house visit to our AAP NYC studio spaces where M.Arch. and M.S. AAD students will spend one semester as a Cornell student.
8 a.m.
The bus departs Ithaca for New York City on Tuesday, April 9, at 8 a.m. from Milstein Hall loading dock and arrives at 26 Broadway at approximately 1:15 p.m.

Complimentary bus to and from Ithaca*
Bus departs Battery Park, New York City, on Sunday, April 7, at 5 p.m., and arrives in Ithaca at approximately 9 p.m.
Bus departs Milstein Hall loading dock, Ithaca, on Tuesday, April 9, at 8 a.m., and arrives in New York City at approximately 1:15 p.m. (followed by an AAP NYC studio visit). Please RSVP for details on bus departure location.

By plane
Tompkins County is served by American Airlines, Delta, and United flights to and from major cities throughout the country. The Syracuse International Airport is an hour and a quarter drive from Ithaca.
By (other) bus or train
Cornell's Campus to Campus bus services runs from New York City to Ithaca. Ithaca is also served by the Greyhound, Trailways, and ShortLine bus systems. Visitors can reach the campus from the bus depot by taxi or the Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) bus service (many buses make campus stops). The nearest Amtrak connection point is Syracuse.
By car
The drive to Ithaca is beautiful, no matter what route you take. Parking on campus is limited. Metered parking on Thurston Avenue, just across the gorge to the north of Milstein Hall, is recommended.
