Joseph Masco is the author of the The Nuclear Borderlands: The Manhattan Project in Post-Cold War New Mexico (2006, Princeton University Press). His current work examines the production of U.S. national security culture by focusing on the interplay between affect, technology, and threat perception in a national public sphere.
