Animal Health Hackathon

Friday, January 24, 2020 at 4:00pm to 3:00pm

SchurmanHall, Atrium, conference rooms, auditorium, and adjacent rooms 618 Tower Road

Join us for the 4th year of the Animal Health Hackathon, cohosted by the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine and Entrepreneurship at Cornell! Students from across degrees, majors and colleges at Cornell, Cornell Tech, UPenn, Virginia Tech, NC State, and Binghamton participated in last year's event.

We invite you to attend this weekend event to explore current trends and expanding new market opportunities in the animal health sector. During Friday's kick off innovators and leaders, ranging from clinics, startups, designers, product managers, founders and more present a multifaceted view of entrepreneurship and animal health services. The event continues on Saturday with a hackathon where teams comprised of veterinary students, business students, engineers, designers and more come together to ideate and create novel solutions in animal health.  Mentors will provide feedback and guidance to teams, culminating in a project showcase on Sunday and final demos to an audience of peers, industry reps, and participants. A panel of judges will select winners and award $8,000 in cash prizes.

This must attend event is unlike anything you've ever seen!

Still unsure? View our Hackathon Video series to experience the 3 day event in mere minutes!  Additional videos of each hackathon are available on this playlist.
