Gil and Deborah Williams have spent their lives collecting American art and getting to know many of the artists whose work they collect. From early twentieth-century modernists, to the work of Works Progress Administration artists during the Depression, to contemporary realists, this exhibition celebrates the very personal interaction of the collectors with their art, and the story this art tells about twentieth-century American life.
