Members of The Cornell Opera Society will be performing selections from Handel's Alcina. Listen and watch as the sorceress Alcina turns her captive lovers into plants and animals. Will the valiant Bradamante be able to save her fiancé, Ruggiero, from magical doom? Selected arias will be performed in Italian with piano accompaniment. Unsung portions will be summarized in English.
