After Six is a pop, R&B, and Neo-soul band that plays originals and covers from a wide variety of artists, including Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Jose James, and Ariana Grande. Originally founded in 2009 as a smooth jazz group, After Six has evolved through several genres with a focus on staying at the forefront of modern music while consistently drawing influence from jazz. Most recently, After Six opened Cornell’s Slope Day mainstage, opening for artists Aminé, Loud Luxury, and Luna Li. Featuring three powerful singers, a lively trumpet-saxophone duo, and a groovin' rhythm section, After Six returns to Cornell with their usual end of semester performance featuring new members and new music.
