Do you know a young person that would like to learn robotics but cant find a club to join?
There are 3 common obstacles with youth getting involved in Robotics
1. Cost
2. No meeting space
3. Lack of trained leaders-thus no clubs/teams
Oneida County can help with all three of these. We have recently purchased 3, EV3 robotics kits. We also have meeting rooms available at the office in Oriskany. 4-H members should simply call the office to reserve a kit and time.
To help with the leader training– We will be offering adult robotics leader training on November 1st from 9-4pm. This adult only workshop will have you building, programming and maneuvering your very own robot. This workshop is designed to give you the confidence to take on a robotics leadership role.
Space is limited and reservation is required. Cost is Free to 4-H Volunteers and Leaders $10 for the public. Pack a lunch.
