Join us for our BeComing Lunch Series with Madeline Lei!
The Asian American Studies Program and the Asian and Asian American Center present the BeComing Lunch Series (formerly Praxis), a student lunch series that provides space for people from Cornell and beyond to speak about their experiences and growth as individuals. Come enjoy a catered lunch and learn from our speakers. Free and open to all!
Madeline Lei is a senior from Naperville, Illinois. She is studying Policy Analysis and Management and minoring in Healthy Futures. On campus, she is involved in a variety of public health research and community initiatives. Madeline is passionate about history: broadly, the various ways in which the environment influences identity, and how we can both stand with trauma and move forward with it. In her free time, you can find her trying out new art styles and/or attempting to master the perfect cup of coffee. During her talk, she will be discussing the formation of her cultural identity, her journey in embracing emotion and artistic expression, and the crucialness of community in self-growth and confidence.
We strive to make our events accessible to everyone. For accommodation requests and information, please contact aasp@cornell.edu or aaac@cornell.edu.
