About this Event
As the creator of CDMA technology and co-founder of QUALCOMM, Inc., Irwin Jacobs is considered one of the world's foremost communications scientists. The National Medal of Technology recipient will share his thoughts on his time at Cornell Engineering, and how he transitioned from an early career in academia to one of the most influential innovators and entrepreneurs of the last century.
Dean Lance Collins will moderate the discussion and present Irwin with Cornell Engineering's Distinguished Alumni Award, which honors engineers whose vision and leadership have transformed their industries and communities.
