Join Professor Christine Balance and her “Intro to Asian American Performance” class (PMA 2621) for a conversation with class guest lecturers, actors Shannon Tyo and Cory Censoprano who are performing in the Kitchen Theatre’s current production, THE TWO KIDS THAT BLOW SHIT UP (written by Carla Ching).

Their discussion will be focused on their experiences as Asian American artists in theatre & performance.

This event is free and open to the public.

Favorite regional credits include The White Snake (Old Globe, San Diego), Miss Saigon (Pioneer Theatre Co, Music Theatre of Wichita, Cape Fear Regional), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Northern Stage, Tuacahn PAC, Pioneer Theatre Co), and Broadway Bounty Hunter(Barrington Stage).

CORY CENSOPRANO is a New York City based actor from the Bay Area. His recent credits have been as a cast member of the 2017 ABC Discovers: Talent Showcase. Theatre: Vietgone (TheatreSquared), FOB (The Drama League), Little Brother (Custom Made Theatre), 25th Annual...Spelling Bee (Los Altos Stage), 2012: The Musical! (San Francisco Mime Troupe), and more. TV: Blue Bloods, Bull.
