Shifting from high school to college student brings on dramatic changes in the values of our first year population:  this final exercise from DEA 1050 Design Your Life (fall semester 2023) provided students with the opportunity to explore those changes through the manipulation of materiality and value reflection.  Using the sustainable material corrugated cardboard, a “clockwork” mechanism, and their own design sensibilities, students created timepieces that stop time at this critical juncture in their lives.
