Cornell University

Cornell University celebrates all things sustainability during the entire month of April, with dozens of events in film, fashion, art, wellness, social justice, climate change leadership, and sustainability topics.

Anyone can host an event! See the Sustainable Campus website for helpful tips on how to get your event listed for the month-long celebration.

Be sure to sign up for the Campus Sustainability Listserv to stay in the know about the latest new opportunities added during April (less than 2 emails per month). Follow the Campus Sustainability Office on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for more event reminders during sustainability month and all year round.

  • Reduce Energy Waste in Labs
Participate in the Freezer Challenge if you work in a lab. Cold storage are one of the highest energy users on campus, and simple changes approved by an international panel of laboratory managers and researchers can improve the efficiency and financial savings of your cold-storage, deep freezers, and lab refrigerators.
