Portraits of Progress celebrates five years of the Tata-Cornell Institute (TCI) and its focus on solving chronic malnutrition in India through action-oriented, multidisciplinary academic research and policy analysis.  A collaboration between TCI and Mann Library, Portraits of Progress features several TCI researchers and their work as seen through the lens of people from various Indian regions, backgrounds and culinary traditions. Through a series of stunning portraits and rich visual details from life across India, the exhibit showcases how systemic issues such as water quality and sanitation, access to markets, and gender can determine an individual’s fundamental ability to procure and absorb safe, nutritious foods on a year-round basis.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
