Thought for Food: A Virtual Symposium on Digital Agriculture
You are invited to join the upcoming 1st Annual CIDA Symposium, "Thought for Food" hosted by the Cornell Institute for Digital Agriculture on Monday, October 11th, 9:00am-4:30pm EST. There will be four sessions featuring speakers from academia, industry, non-profits, and diverse private sector enterprises:
9:00am-10:30am: “Agricultural robotics around the world”
10:40am-12:10pm: “Digital Agriculture in Low and Middle-Income Countries”
1:10pm-2:40pm: “Promoting sustainable and resilient animal agriculture through DA”
2:50pm-4:20pm: “Smarter food safety through data sharing among food businesses”
All are welcome to join this free virtual event.
Our global agriculture and food systems require a radical transformation that will require a convergence of thinkers, stakeholders, and practitioners from agriculture, food safety, engineering, information and computer science, biology, business and the social sciences. This Symposium showcases new ideas and research that inspires learning, catalyzes innovation, and integrates fundamental discoveries to achieve new levels of sustainability in agri-food systems. By envisioning new ways of thinking about food, this symposium will inspire new food for thought.
