4-H/SUNY Canton Vet Science  Program

For more than 35 years, Cornell Cooperative Extension SLC and the SUNY Canton Veterinary Technician Program have provided local youth to gain hands-on experience in animal science.

Past classes have covered rabies, radiology, emergency and basic care, surgery, dentistry and many other areas. These hands-on classes are taught by vet tech students with assistance from their professors. 

March 20, 27, and April 3, 10, and 17

Participants must be at least 13 years of age by January 1, 2025.

The cost to register is $40 for enrolled 4-H'ers and $65 for non-4-H'ers. You will be automatically directed to our PayPal page for payment after completing registration. Non-4-Her's, please complete 4-H enrollment forms here and email to crh248@cornell.edu.
