About this Event
Utica Public Market at the Train Station
https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/4-HUticamarket_230Join us at the Utica Public Market where we show the public just what 4-H Is about by spotlighting you and your projects.
We are seeking volunteers to: bring their project animals so the public can see them and run activity stations.
If you can bring animals please reach out to Casey 315-736-3394 x108
Oneida County 4-H requires all 4-H Members to participate in at least 6 hours of Community Service if they want to show at the Boonville Fair or equivalent. 1 of which must be given back directly to a Oneida County 4-H program/activity. Cloverbuds exempt.
Volunteering at the market would help you in reaching those hours of giving back to 4-H.
Participating in the Public Market is an excellent opportunity to have fun and help your community at the same time.
We are seeking youth and adults volunteers who are willing to work in shifts from 8:30am-11am 10:30-1:30pm or all day 8:30am-1:30pm
Youth Activity Leaders will run the games. ( Probably minute to win it games or things like ring toss.)The plan is to have the youth work in pairs but it is hard to say until all helpers register.
Adults can act as assistants and jump in when and where needed.
After the Market please remember to log into " Faces of 4-H" to record your volunteer hours.
Covid remains a concern and we are going to follow current guidelines. We are also going to try to do activities that limit contact.....Simon Says, Story time........
If you have any ideas for activities please feel free to share your thoughts
