4-H Virtual Livestock Readiness

4-H youth in Jefferson, Dutchess, and Ulster counties.

Event dates February 22nd, March 8th, April 5th, April 19th, June 14th, June 28th

These virtual lessons will teach 4-H youth the basics of raising livestock. This program will prepare youth who are interested in participating in the 2021 4-H Livestock Auction to raise their animals. Topics covered include selection and planning, record keeping and expenses, feed and weight maintenance, withholding time and required vaccines, handling, and marketing.
