Explore veterinary careers and develop skills with experienced animal professionals!

When: Mondays, October 2 - December 4, 6:30pm - 8:00pm (with exceptions)
Where: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland County (10 Patriot Hills Drive, Stony Point, NY 10980)
Who: High School Students
Cost: $180 (Financial assistance is available)

Tentative Schedule:

• October 2: Introduction to Veterinary Medicine


• October 16, 6:00pm - 8:00pm: Case Studies in Veterinary Medicine / Snake & Rat Dissection


• October 23: Equine Veterinary Care


• October 30: Veterinary Technology / Mercy College Visit


• November 6: Exotic Animal Care & Handling


• November 13: Anatomy & Physiology / Owl Pellet Dissection


• November 20: Animal Hospital Visit


• November 27: Cat Care & Handling


• December 5: "A Day in the Life" of a Veterinarian / Education Considerations and Critical Thinking
