Session 1 Monday, February 23-Morrisville State College, Marshall Hall, Ag. Mechanics Shop and Classroom, Registration 6:00 p.m. Time: 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Topics: Orientation, workbook and class schedule distribution, collect class fee. Program on Internal Combustion Engines, General Maintenance, etc. Coordinator: Mr. Fred Bach & Mr. Rob Cross

Session 3 Monday, March 9-Gold Star Feed Tour- Rte. 20, Sangerfield, NY Time: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Topics: Safety around large equipment, workplace safety, including operating machinery & tour of the facility

Session 6 Saturday, April 11-Madison Central School, Rte 20, Madison, NY Time: 8:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Topics: Tractor Operation Test over a course, Safety Demonstration on various machinery.

Session 7 Monday, April 13-Morrisville State College, Dairy Barn, Eaton Street, Morrisville, NY Time: 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Topics: Safety issues with animals, Final written exam.

Optional Additional Driving Time
There will be two additional optional sessions for those enrolled who would like extra time to practice driving a tractor before the Tractor Operation Test. These sessions will be held between March 30th and April 3rd. Dates, Times, and Locations of the optional sessions will be announce during Session 2 on March 2nd.
Madison County 4-H Agriculture & Tractor Safety Certification Program
Course Requirements
In order to satisfactorily complete this course and receive the appropriate certification, you must:
-Pre-register and pay the $10.00 fee.
-Attend scheduled classes and actively participate. Attendance will be recorded.
-Read the Workbook as the course progresses, complete reviewing workbook, weekly quizzes.
-Complete the practical driving exam.
-Pass the written final exam with a 70% grade. Please let one of the instructors know if you need any assistance testing. Readers and/or special arrangements can be made.
-Portions of the sessions may be located in unheated facilities, please dress according to the weather. Boots are required for all sessions.
