Thank you for your interest in the 2020 Ag Literacy Program. March 16-20, 2020

As soon as information about the program becomes available I will contact you. In the meantime providing the requested information will insure that we are aware of your interest.

In this registration we ask that you supply your contact information along with the dates, grades and schools you are available to read at.

I will match the information you provide to the requests from the teachers. Please be aware that not all school participate in this program. Therefore, just because you request a certain school or class does not guarantee that you will be reading to that classroom. Additionally sometimes a teacher already has a reader or he/she may plan on reading to the classroom themselves. Either way thank you for volunteering.

The program takes between 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.

You will be supplied with the book and an outline of creative ways to engage the students in this years topic.

There is also a hands on activity ( we will provide you the supplies)

As with all grant funded programs feedback is key to its success. Following the program we ask that you obtain an evaluation from the teacher. The evaluation must be returned to the office within one week of your reading.
