The 34^th Annual Map Sale will take place Tuesday-Wednesday, Nov. 28 and 29, in Sibley Hall on the Cornell campus, next to the Green Dragon Café, from 10am to 3:30pm both days. These are reproductions of historic world maps, town plans, sea charts, and bird’s-eye views of cities and regions from around the U.S. and the world – London, Paris, Rome, Cairo, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Tokyo, Wellington, Mexico City, Beijing, Cape Town, Mumbai, and hundreds more! All for sale at discounted prices ranging from $7.50 to $16.00 for prints that are usually priced from $14.00 to $50.00. Some maps are also available as notecards and postcards Also for sale are gently used books and magazines on topics including architecture, urban design, art history, history, planning, historic preservation, and travel for $1.50 to $4.00 each. All proceeds benefit Historic Preservation Planning Alumni, the alumni organization of Cornell’s Graduate Program in Historic Preservation Planning, and its student scholarship program.
