Women in Leadership Panel

Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Goldwin Smith Hall, Hollis E Cornell (HEC) Auditorium
232 East Ave, Central Campus

Join us for a lively discussion about leadership in the 21st century. What does it mean to be a female leader in these times? What issues should female students think about as they begin to embark on their careers?

From Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In to Kirsten Gillibrand’s Off the Sidelines, women in leadership has been a hot topic this year. These highly successful alumnae from the College of Arts & Sciences will share career advice from their experiences in finance, consumer products, law, and food production. Panelists are:

Naomi Kelman, Economics ’81, MBA ’83, Head of OTC Division, Novartis

Franci Blassberg, College Scholar ’75, Partner, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP

Carol Rattray, Asian Studies ’78, Co-founder, Zoomdojo

Sponsored by the College of Arts & Sciences Career Services and Alumni Affairs & Development.

Co-sponsors: Society for Women in Business, Cornell Venture Capital, Society of Women and Law, Graduate & Professional Women's Network, Society for Women in Politics, and Women's Management Council, Women's Law Coalition and 85 Broads.
