The Atkinson Symposium: Beyond Earth Art

Artists and experts will explore topics found in beyond earth art • contemporary artists and the environment. Speakers are scheduled to include art historian and critic Suzaan Boettger; William L. Fox, director of the Center for Art + Environment at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno; artist Christian Houge; Amy Lipton, codirector of ecoartspace, a nonprofit platform providing opportunities for artists who address environmental issues; and artist Lucy Orta.

The symposium is funded by Cornell’s Atkinson Forum in American Studies Program.
