Don’t miss Terra Nova—the new exhibit in the Mann Gallery. Photographer Thibault Roland’s elegant, evocative photographs capture Newfoundland’s desolate beauty: icebergs glow in the dark sea, the sky hangs vast above the moors, and the wind speaks in waves and clouds. It’s a dreamscape of darkness and light—come wander.
Thibault Roland is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University in biophysics. In his work, as well as his art, he uses light as a tool to manipulate and elucidate the fundamental aspects of life.
Terra Nova will be on display in the Mann Gallery through October 28.
