Special Species Symposium 2019

The Special Species Symposium is a weekend-long conference that brings together students and professionals interested in veterinary medicine and animal management of so-called "special species," including zoo animals, wildlife, exotics, and pocket pets.

This weekend long conference will include about 15 lectures and about 12 laboratories. Lectures and wet-labs will be hosted on Saturday (March 30) and Sunday (March 21st). Lectures will be hosted from 8am - 12pm. Wet labs will be held from 1pm-5pm at different times. A banquet will be set on Saturday night from 6pm - 9pm.

Cost

90 dollars for lectures and wet-labs, 80 dollars for lectures only (wet-labs are for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary students)
