Martin Loeffler is the CEO of Grameen Caldas, a social business consulting firm and incubation center based in Colombia. In this role he developed the holistic social business movement of Caldas, a regional development approach based on a combination of microfinance and social business. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as a finance director at Fireman's Fund, an Allianz P&C insurance company near San Francisco, where he was responsible for business intelligence and performance management. Martin also served as a top management consultant with Mercer Management Consulting/Oliver Wyman in Munich for six years. He has a German and French business degree from the ESB Reutlingen and Reims Management School. Prior to joining Grameen, Martin took a year off to travel throughout Europe, the Caribbean, India, Nepal, and the Philippines. He loves outdoor sports like kite-surfing, mountain biking, and skiing.
